Terms of Service 

Applies to CourtReports.com and Social.CourtReports.com 

Owned and Operated by Certified Reporters, LLC 

Effective Date: 02/03/2026 

By accessing or using CourtReports.com or Social.CourtReports.com (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. 

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. 

1. Scope and Nature of the Platform 

The Platform is a professional discovery and networking infrastructure for attorneys, court reporters, legal videographers, interpreters, and related legal support professionals. 

We are not: 

● A court reporting firm or agency 

● A law firm 

● A brokerage 

● A payment processor 

● A custodian of client or case data 

● A professional service provider 

We do not perform, supervise, or manage legal services or reporting services.

We collect only the information necessary to operate a professional networking platform 

2. Architecture of the Platform 

The CourtReports ecosystem operates as two legally and functionally distinct layers. 

2.1 CourtReports.com 

CourtReports.com is a public, informational, and search-engine-optimized directory that allows any member of the public to view and discover legal support professionals who are members of Social.CourtReports.com. 

It is an indexing and visibility layer only. 

No transactions, payments, contracts, bookings, or service engagements occur on CourtReports.com. 

2.2 Social.CourtReports.com 

Social.CourtReports.com is a private, paid professional networking platform that allows Members to: 

● Maintain professional profiles 

● Communicate 

● Establish professional relationships 

Social.CourtReports.com is not a marketplace, broker, referral agency, employer, or transaction platform. It provides only identity, discovery, and communication tools. 

3. Platform Status — Passive Technology Provider

Certified Reporters, LLC operates the Platform solely as a passive technology provider. We: 

● Do not control, supervise, or direct Members 

● Do not oversee professional services 

● Do not establish pricing or contractual terms 

● Do not participate in or facilitate transactions 

● Do not guarantee outcomes 

We provide only the technical infrastructure that allows Members to find and communicate with one another. 

4. No Marketplace, No Brokerage, No Financial Intermediation 

We explicitly do not: 

❌ Negotiate contracts 

❌ Facilitate agreements 

❌ Process or collect service payments 

❌ Hold, transmit, or escrow funds 

❌ Take commissions 

❌ Act as agent, broker, or intermediary 

❌ Represent any party 

All services, payments, and agreements occur entirely outside the Platform.

5. No Reliance; Independent Due Diligence 

All information on the Platform is self-reported. 

We do not verify, validate, or certify accuracy, credentials, licensing, or suitability. You expressly agree that: 

● You will not rely on any Platform content when making professional, legal, or financial decisions ● You will conduct your own due diligence 

Including: 

● License verification 

● Background checks 

● Contract review 

● Risk assessment 

6. Member-to-Member Responsibility 

All professional services are provided directly between Members. 

Certified Reporters, LLC bears no responsibility or liability for: 

● Performance 

● Errors 

● Omissions

● Negligence 

● Misconduct 

● Fraud 

● Injury 

● Property damage 

● Financial loss 

● Professional malpractice 

All disputes, damages, claims, and losses must be resolved exclusively between the Members involved. 

7. No Endorsement or Vetting 

We do not endorse, recommend, verify, certify, or guarantee any Member. 

All profiles and content are user-generated. 

8. No Duty to Monitor, Warn, or Protect Certified Reporters, LLC has no duty to: 

● Monitor activity 

● Screen users 

● Investigate claims 

● Warn of risks

● Prevent misconduct 

● Intervene in disputes 

● Protect users from one another 

Even if we are informed of a potential risk or misconduct, we have no legal obligation to act. All interaction risks are assumed by users. 

9. Third-Party Conduct 

We are not responsible for: 

● Acts or omissions of Members 

● Criminal acts 

● Negligence 

● Professional malpractice 

● Data misuse 

● Harassment 

● Fraud 

Users assume all risks arising from third-party conduct. 

10. No Agency, Partnership, or Employment Nothing on the Platform creates:

● Employment 

● Agency 

● Partnership 

● Joint venture 

● Fiduciary duty 

between: 

● Members 

● Members and Certified Reporters, LLC 

11. Membership Fees & Stripe Processing 

Social.CourtReports.com operates on a paid annual membership model. 

All payments are processed through Stripe, an independent third-party payment processor. You acknowledge: 

● We do not hold your funds 

● We do not control Stripe 

● We are not responsible for Stripe errors, outages, chargebacks, reversals, or banking failures 

We disclaim all liability for: 

● Payment failures

● Processing errors 

● Lost or delayed funds 

● Card or bank disputes 

● Financial losses caused by Stripe or any financial institution All membership purchases are final and non-refundable. 

12. Platform Disclaimer 

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” 

We disclaim all warranties including: 

● Accuracy 

● Fitness for purpose 

● Professional quality 

● Availability 

We do not provide legal, financial, or professional advice. 

13. Limitation of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Certified Reporters, LLC shall not be liable for any: ● Indirect

● Incidental 

● Consequential 

● Punitive 

● Lost-profit damages 

Our total liability to any individual user or to all users collectively shall not exceed the total membership fees paid by the claimant(s) to Certified Reporters, LLC in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. 

14. Indemnification 

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Certified Reporters, LLC from any claims arising from: 

● Your use of the Platform 

● Your professional services 

● Your interactions 

● Your content 

15. Arbitration, Venue & Class Waiver 

All disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Ada County, Idaho. 

You waive:

● Jury trials 

● Class actions 

● Representative actions 

16. Termination 

We may suspend or terminate any account at any time for any reason. No refunds. 

17. Entire Agreement 

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Certified Reporters, LLC.
